Smartphone Charging Pads: Analysis

You use your smartphone to buy movie tickets, download your favorite songs, and make online reservations at the new French restaurant. But, if your smartphone battery dies, you can’t do any of this. And let’s be honest, charging your smartphone the old-fashioned way is a drag. You have to plug your charger into an outlet and leave it connected long enough to give it enough power.

But now there is an easier way to charge your device: a smartphone charging pad.

Charge your phone wirelessly

Charge pads are mats that enable devices to be charged wirelessly. Just by setting your device on the mat it will start to charge, this virtually eliminates cord mess and searching for an outlet. You may also charge multiple devices, such as iPods and tablets, simultaneously using these mats.

Have you ever considered how these work? They use electro-magnetic induction charging to create a magnetic field that delivers power to the batteries of your smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices.

Charge pads a technology in progress

Smartphone charge pads, though, haven’t really captured the imaginations of shoppers. There are a few good reasons for this: First of all, today’s charge pads aren’t inexpensive. In some instances, they cost nearly as much as the gadgets that consumers want to charge.

Next, they take up space. For people looking to save space and eliminate mess, this negates their purpose.

An improving wireless world

The great news is that technology is constantly improving, particularly in the field of wireless products. It will not be too long before the market is dotted with organizations supplying new and improved charge pads. And you can bet these new pads will get rid of the price and space problems that so far have kept these devices from becoming must-have items.
